We all know that there are problems with the internet as it is presently constructed and used. To begin addressing issues like this, Pew Research conducted some surveys of experts about how the internet is viewed and what should be done about it. They recently issued their second report for the project, which focuses on how various experts would envisage the internet in the year 2035, which was the year that seemed to emerge from the first round of questions. It was felt that by then the issues might possibly be dealt with. Their report is found at their website. It's a great read.
