What Can We Expect From NaaS

One of the more popular services today is that of Networks as a Service (NaaS), a cloud-based service that is offered to provide networks and relate services for companies with a need for solid cloud-based networks. Since companies have been moving to the cloud for several years, NaaS is a natural service for many companies. It eliminates or reduces the development stage for networks as well as the need to hire staff to operate the network.

Disadvantages of NaaS center around the need to give up some control over the network and the ability to service some of the particular needs of very large organizations such as multi-jurisdictional legal and taxation requirements.

A recent article summarizes some of the considerations in going with a NaaS solution and can be found here: https://www.networkcomputing.com/networking/what-expect-network-service-naas-technology
